“Pastica de Jamón” (Ham Spread)– Page 19

2 (4.5 ounce) cans of Deviled Ham
8 ounces of Cream Cheese-Room Temperature
½ teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
Saltine crackers or soft rolls (I prefer sliced bread with the edges peeled off)

Directions:

1. Skim the fat off the deviled ham (found at the bottom of the can)
2. Mix all ingredients into a small bowl with a fork
3. Cover and refrigerate for about 20 to 30 minutes

Chacha’s Bocadito Recipe

Pastica de Jamon

1 (4.5 ounce) can of Deviled Ham
8 ounces of Cream Cheese
1 can of fancy pimentos (Goya- apparently it’s the best one!)
A few strips of deli ham
½ of a red onion ring (ring should be cut to be semi thick)

Directions:

1. Skim the fat off the deviled ham
2. Combine all ingredients into a blender (should form a paste)
